Brazilian Rosewood McPherson Guitar 4.5XPH – Acoustic Guitar Demo
www.soundpure.com The McPherson 4.5XPH #1744 Brazilian Rosewood Guitar with a highly flamed Redwood top is one of the most stunning acoustic guitars we’ve seen at Sound Pure. The Rosewood and the Flamed Redwood create complex and bold tones, incredible sustain, and astounding overtones. The intonation is even throughout the entire neck. @soundpurestudios you’re welcome!
@MusicAndDaren Of course, and if you have any questions at all about them please don’t hesitate to shoot them our way. Sound great don’t they!?
@soundpurestudios That’s great. Thanks for the heads up!
the thing that amazes me is the fact that every single note that is played resonates like crazy! I can hear each note bouncing around all over the place inside that beautiful body and every string wants to chime in with another harmonic to play along…
@MusicAndDaren They are a bit unusual looking, but the design is to create a complete lack of microphone related phase and reflection problems. It’s a very progressive, and technologically sophisticated microphone company, Earthworks. This is their SR40 mic. You can learn more about them on our site and see a bunch of additional videos on them.
@Fichtezxc Thanks for saying so. The McPhersons are really, really special. And the way that they play and resonate from a players perspective make them a real dream to play. This particular one is expensive, and worth every penny, but there are certainly less expensive alternatives to choose from.
@TractorTheBassist Nothing like that Brazilian- it really is the BEST! Too bad it’s so endangered these days… thanks for the comment, and for checking in from Brazil!
That’s one of the best sounding acoustics I’ve ever heard. Almost makes me want to overcome my dislike of the dred body style and grab one.
The mics look weird. Do they have an attachment on them or something?
Wood from my land! Of course this guitar would be so good! GREETINGS FROM BRASIL!
@JaciMorais Thanks for the nice comment- this is one of the most exceptional acoustic guitars we have encountered. Whoever ends up with this one is going to have a dream guitar for life.
@lenoat702 First?
@dannycurtean Our pleausre, and thanks for saying so! We really appreciate the support from someone that knows what’s going on.
the best acoustic guitar, this wood is very beautiful!
@mongoose979 It definitely makes a difference. The idea is that you have a greater undivided surface area where the top vibrates the most, directly under the strings. Traditional soundholes are right in this spot and so obviously the top cannot vibrate there because it doesn’t exist. This concept is taken further by the cantilevered neck which makes it so that the fingerboard does not come in to contact with the top, and therefore allows it to vibrate even more. Check out our website for more!
You guys are something else
. Dont think I didnt notice….ill leave it at that. Thank you. This is refreshing. (BTW this IS a compliment)
beautiful guitar. does that different soundhole make a difference or is it just a gimmick ?
