Before buying any guitar effects, gadgets and the like, we normally do like we normally do. Go to a store, get the sales guy to setup the guitar and start fiddling woth those gadgets until you are happy with how it sounds. But what if you are not free to do all that? What if you are brwosing the net and found what you like? Just reading the features can get you excited but how does it sounds like?

I like this idea from Boss where you could try all the compact pedals in a virtual environment. Whether you are a Punk lover, Rocker or are into Blues and Jazz, you can experiment with the sounds all from the comfort of your living room or your toilet. Boss DD-7 latest family in the digital delay line

2008, and Boss has come up with newer models with the latest features. Among them is the Boss DD-7. Boss GT-10 multi effect processor

Here’s a new one from Boss. Recently announced at the 2008 Frankfurt Musikmesse, this multi-effect processor introduced new features that fits today’s guitar playing needs. Here are the features as mentioned in the Roland US website.

Ability to use MIDI is a real plus. I’m not sure if this unit can be used as a MIDI controller though. The looper and ability to record direct to a laptop does sound good. ..and did you check out that synth guitar function? Groovy.
