JHOP was originally founded back in 1998 by guitarist and composer Jarle. The very same year, at the age of 17, he released his first self produced demo CD entitled “JHO” which was at that time very neoclassical metal oriented. The all instrumental demo received some great feedback from the local press and Jarle got a full line-up to fit the project, a quartet. In the later years the music became a blend of modern progressive/fusion with strong roots in metal. The debut album is currently in progress and will be a musical journey trough atmospheric compositions…
