Looks like most of the musical suppliers are jumping into the pocket recorder niche. I think it’s really healthy. It gives us musicians more choice and better value as everyone is trying to come out with something unique and special.

Yamaha has produced teh Pocketrak CX pocket Recorder. It features built-in X-Y stereo mic, 5-band EQ, high-pass filter and peak limiter for improved sound, high output built-in speaker, up to 50 hours of recording time, PCM and MP3 recording and playback (Supports WMA playback too)
