Cinderella, the Glam Rock band you can’t forget
For those of you who experienced the glam rock of 80’s and 90’s you may have noticed this band who called themselves Cinderella. The video in this post is a live footage of their concert in Detroit Michigan. Definitely a song I grew up to during school days.
This is a band that was among the big names of the time like Poison, Ratt and even Bon Jovi. In fact from what I read, they actually got their big break when Jon Bon Jovi saw them perform at the Empire Rock Club in Philadelphia and recommended that his A&R rep see them as well. Their music is kind of a metal band but with lots of blues influence especially when their third album, Heartbreak Station, was released in 1990. Most probably influenced by Tom Keifer who is the original founder who has the role of singer-songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist. Cinderella was founded by both Tom Keifer and Eric Brittingham, the bassist.
So are they still around? Hell yeah! They are currently engaged in a joined tour with glam rock’s superstars like Poison, Warrant, Lynch Mob and others. Too bad I can’t watch. You lucky US brothers you..
