Do guitarists really need special seats?
Currently I’m using an el-cheapo typist chair bought from the local store. It’s great for my home recording sessions and guitar sessions in my room except for the uneasiness you get when you start to sweat and stuff. Those cheap fabric really makes you bottom itchy after some time. I also chose a chair with no arm rest. That way I can move backwards and lean my back together with the guitar.
Browsing around the today, I started by looking out for theater seatings but ended up looking at some nice chairs that was made for musicians alike. There’s chairs for drummers, chairs for keyboardists and guitarists and even for the sound techs! It was this brand called Soundseat. Boy, it sure looks comfy and all.
