Gibson HD.6X-Pro or Digital Les Paul (DLP)
Heard of the Digital Les Paul. Yeah. Nowadays almost every guitar producing companies out there has their own hybrid guitar. I believe it’s just something that we can’t run away from. Even a god quality recording now can be done in the comfort of your own home. The DLP can actually work like a normal guitar if you were wondering. But you just have to check out the output panel of that guitar. It has Volume control and monitor jack, RJ-45 locking connector for CAT5 cable, jack for headset or other mic, and Classic Mode output.
Hooking this baby to a computer, you can actually do lot’s of creative stuff with it. You can even control the output sound of each string for example. So if you are the type who can play bass and rhythm pretty well with a guitar, this is definitely something for you. Combine this baby with some guitar plugin softwares like IK Multimedia’s Amplitube or Native Instrument’s Guitar Rig.. you are ready to rock like Jimi Hendrix, Edge, Steve Vai, Brian May and the list goes on and on.
Guitar Player magazine did a detailed review on this baby too. Go and check it out.
