a wish i could afford one fuck
It looks pretty cool, but I still prefer the Ibanez Jem 77FP.
must be nice to have enough money to get one of these haha…..I’ve played one in a music store before and it is a great guitar, however there are other guitars that are just as good as this one that are alot cheaper…but it’s Vai’s signature so what would you expect?
what is the name of the song at 1:43
Definitely a beautiful guitar to see in person. Probably the highlight of my “music career” to date, JEMFEST X and the Alien Guitar Secrets master class was an amazing experience.
At 0:58 you can see my lighted fretboard “Jem” tribute guitar in this video. Steve seemed to like it.
Man that is one beautiful guitar it looks amazing I have a rg5ex1 and I would love to have a Steve vai signature guitar my uncle has one but he’s stingy with it!
@Ramiroocampo That won’t work entirely. Every guitar is unique. It’s the unified resonation between the neck and the body that produces the nice and friendly overtones. It’ll take a while before Steve can find a replacement for Evo, though the new one might never get anywhere close to the same sound as the original.
lets good
As a Japanese guitarist, Im very interested in this guitar! Great design. I wish I could get this…..
@XAlphaZEROX I bet he could put the original electronics in another body with that same specs of “evo” and get at least the same sound. I mean, it doesn´t even have the original neck any more, how can a body be so important to a high gain rock guitar?
Exelent video.
@XAlphaZEROX feels great but i dont really love the quality. its not bad but definately not amazing. but its better than the standard fixed bridge so im not complaining haha
Is anyone else worried about the end of Evo? In this video he’s using Flo II. Long live Evo!!
@deathcore1239 The Gibraltar Standard on the RGAs. The tight end is great, but the Gibraltar Standard takes it all for me.
@Wickydeviking I don’t know if you’re kidding or not, but I’ll just assume for the moment you aren’t.
6105 are one of the most shred-friendly gauges of fretwire. They’re very tall and very wide (when looking at them from the end). Gibson guitars have the widest fretwire, but aren’t as tall. Stratocasters have smaller fretwire, which makes it easier to slide and bend. Taller frets are more conducive to speed playing, but not as much for slides.
@XAlphaZEROX which gibralter. theres the standard (NEW rg7321), the plus (mbm1) or custom (xpt707fx)? they all feel great but the gibralter standard is kinda low quality. and i think the tight end feels AMAZING and is the best of all fixed bridges
和柄のギターはいいね~
crap…..
i actually found out about steve vai by his rythm guitarist dave weiner WEIRD HUH
I wouldn’t pay that much for a guitar unless it was a total custom made to my specs. Basswood? Your kidding right? I think the Breed p/ups sound better than the evo’s btw–ceramic are too cold and shrill.
AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA “BASSWOOD” body. Sure, I’ll pay over $2k like all the lemmings for a “BASSWOOD” body. What a joke.
@deathcore1239 Lo Pro is an amazing bridge, it’s a very natural feeling bridge because of the low profile. I still think the Edge bridge sounds and feel the best. It also is the most reliable. But when it comes to bridges… The Gibraltar bridge takes the win for me. I love the hardtails, and I love how different the Gibraltar feels.
RU FUKIN SERIUS? 6105 FRETS?? O_O
1:00 i’ve never seen that guitar before, but it’s incredible.
@rev50071 Thanks!
