awesome playing, mixing, and just overall performance. Stuff like this just amazes me.
Any EQ, compression and mastering?
@CkilledTQueen Cubase 5
Hey What program did u use to record?
Can u say Boss GT 10 Or Line 6?????
GREAT
SO FUCKING AWSOME
This song completely blows WAY out anything Dream Theater did in their last 7 (seven) albums.
Damn…that’s some good shit!
Old dudes rule!
holy fucking shit that was some extra-terrestrial shit!!! absolutely blew me away! makes me wonder how the flying fuck anybody comes up with stuff like this?
that was…just plane speechless. Bad-a job.
Great track. I wanted to ask how you are enjoying that PRS. Is it a custom 24? How would you say the original neck pickup compares to a typical Gibson neck pickup sound? Any help with this would be welcome because I am looking to drop a few grand on a PRS but I don´t know if it´s worth it. Thanks and great playing!
quick question: pod hd500 or eleven rack if you had to choose just one?
Quick question, maybe a silly one… I’ve not seen the POD software, but I assumed it was simply an effects/recording suite? Does it also includ the multitrack and mixing capabilities as well? If so, a bargain at it’s current price!
I’m starting to record more demos as a I write, so was looking to multitrack bass, guitar and drums – nothing overly fancy. Had assumed I’d need to record bass and guitar separately and then mix in with some other software.
@mrchrisbeaver acutally im planning on buying a new amp anyway. the vox will just be my practice amp. any suggestions? i need one for live shows and ofcourse the pod got to work on it
@elechso Thanks
@IcemanICT with those limited options you’ll have no choice but to plug straight from the pods output into your amps front input, In your position i would definitely try one before buying one because i wouldn’t be surprised if your amp sounded better than the pod. Think about it this way, you would be putting a modeler through an already modeled clean amp tone in your vox, i cant see that working well but i may be wrong
@mrchrisbeaver i have a VOX AD50VT. There are just external speaker out and line/phhone on the back. Is there any other way to plug in? Thank you for helping out
@mrchrisbeaver i have a VOX AD50VT. There are just line phone/ and an external speaker out on the back of the amp. Is there any other way to plug in? Thx for your help
@elechso Yes
You can tell this guy listens to Dream Theater.
@IcemanICT It,s best to plug it straight into the return jack on the back of your amp. That way your amps tone controls wont colour the sound
if i plug this baby into my amp how do i have to setup my amp settings (gain,treble bass, midle…….)? turn them all off?
this really goes to show that amp sims have so much more to them then what people on youtube like to post. with a little work, tlc, and time you can get great sounds. this shit sounds a million times better then half the axe fx videos up on youtube. not that this is better then the axe fx, but people are so quick to judge. unless you are a guitar snob who likes to be combative for no reason, you can not tell he didnt use a head and cab
@wyldefan716 its a sustainiac
