Self-taught guitarist now teaches
BY JILL DOSS-RAINES The Dispatch Matt Jarvis, a self-taught guitar and bass player, never took a lesson from anyone to learn to play the musical instruments. But he knows and appreciates the importance of a teacher in a new musician’s life, so he now offers lessons to students ranging from age 8 to 50 at Guitars USA on National Boulevard.
