@glynnracing79 Its because your listening tot he wrong music. Want crazy solos and tapping? gotta look to more of the underground stuff or Metal. When i say metal i dont mean Metalica or radio bands but bands like, Adagio with stephen forte , Angra with Kiko, Wintersun with Jari , Old Children of Bodom Albums with Alexi Lahio and Sinergy with Jesper or ALexi. for sinergy i strongly sugest “I spit on your grave”.

This is for losers. This is playing for the sake of playing and being “cool” and “fast”. Wtf??? If one puts some soul into it and creativity then playing a few notes very slowly and occassionaly will sound sublime. B.B. King’s The Thrill is Gone. Need I say more?

This dude’s good. The problem with shredders, I’ve found though, is that because they CAN shred, they feel they MUST use this ability in songs. Not good in any kind of modern band.
