Introduced in 1999 and a standard feature since 2001, the patented New Technology (NT) neck was designed by Bob Taylor and his team to accomplish the primary goal of building a straighter, more stable guitar neck. The NT Neck means a stable, easy-to-adjust neck that stands up to the pressures all acoustic guitars face.

continuing from my last comment.. I just bought myself a taylor 310ce after wanting one for a few years now. And i am in love with the guitar! The tak is a good guitar but not like this. The action and the sound is just masterful IMO. But… i think the neck needs a slight adjustment. there is some fret buzz on the lower and mid register of the neck… other than that I am so happy with the taylor. But i still enjoy playing my tak and actually is louder than my 310ce.

I have a takamine 330gs guitar and although the action is a bit high.. it is very easy to play and the sound is so loud and crisp. I do wish there was more on the low end with the tone. but for being $300 or sometimes lower it has to be the best for its price range.

I think Tak’s are nice guitars for the money, but I personally don’t feel any of their model line matches up to Taylors.

To me, Tak’s have always been more of a “budget nice” guitar rather than a “nice guitar”.
