Vox DA5, the battery powered 5 watts amp
Fancy having a VOX amp but can’t afford the AC15 or AC30? Well folks hope is still there. Folks at VOX never forgets everyone. So they came up with a mini amp that you can carry around in a scooter or perhaps just dump it into your passenger or backseat of your car.
The VOX DA5 is a 5 watts portable amp. Now don’t let the small number fool you mates. This little baby packs an arsenal of great amp tones. Who else would be qualified if not from the legendary company itself. It has 11 different ’styles’ or amp sounds that covers from squeeky clean ones to phat overdriven tones. There’s also 11 types of effects. And check this out, noise reduction is also thrown in!
Since this is a portable amp, you get a branded strap as part of the deal. They come in funky colors now too. But here in Kuala Lumpur so far I only found out we have the black ones with the metal grill and the classic VOX look, with brown cloth grill. Awesome!
Another cool thing I have to mention here is that the ability of this amp to also handle microphone inputs. Really suitable for small gatherings or jam sessions in a small room. Below are more specs.

China made guitars are like a luck for you. Some are nice sounding some are not. There’s always a reason why things are cheap. Most of the time they don’t use high quality materials and sometimes workmanship are sacrificed a little bit.
